Every month I watch a debate kind of program on television about corruption. The reason I see is very natural for all kind of corruptions, though I believe there is no class of corruption except the scale on a single line which appears to having many branches like a tree.
The most obvious reason is the lack of fear because the corrupt people share a very strong bonding among themselves and they know that there are good chances to escape and accumulate a large sum of money if things are done is a mutual sharing basis. Instead of looking at the vastness of this big tree and counting its branches, we should look the main trunk and the root which gives nourishment to such trees.
The system is the soil which provides the base for the tree. I do not believe that system should be removed but it can be made more efficient. The large scale of money deposited in the Swiss bank and who knows..how many banks? shows a great scale of corruption at so many stages. Corruption has been used as a political tool for self interest from ages. There is no way that you can leave the corruption out of politics. The only way is you can keep money out of it. Because, the main objective to get money. Until unless, we keep a watch on the bank accounts of every citizen of India, there is no way you can remove it. There can be solutions to this issue. The basic thing which runs in this system is money. And we must have to keep a check on the flow of this money to keep things in control. This way we keep check on the bank accounts of the employees of the government.
The other thing which I would like to put in place isacceptance of merit. Until unless, education is provided free of cost to all children, this can not implemented. Education should be provided free of cost to all children of the country without any differences of class, creed and religion. The government can put education tax on working class for investing in future of the country . The education should be free of cost at primary level till class 12. Teachers should be given the prime most respect in society. And all the teachers should be made government servant and they must come from the test of eligibility. A student will have no religion, no caste, no creed. There will be no tuition fee. The budget of India will take care it. Once the child is out of class 12th, he can take a merit based exam and depending upon his merit he will be given scholarship and sponsorship for the fee which will be very transparent. The income of parent will then come into picture. The less income parent will get subsidy from the government. This way we will share the burden of parents for the primary education. The parents can save money for the higher studies of their children. This way educational system can be cleaned.
If these measures are taken, I am sure we can counter corruption at a very high scale.

The Merger and Acquisition
Today, I took a break to listen the CEO of my company, who in town hall meeting held a conference to announce acquisition of my company by a very big Japanese Company. The parent company seems to be worth more than 100 billion dollars. The immediate parent seems to be around 14 billion dollars.
The mergers and acquisitions are not a new thing to me. It should be noted that I joined a 100 million company which was dreaming to become 1 billion with the backing of a very large bank which has helped my company to acquire very small size companies and increase the foot print before. In a sudden rush, we got a news in 2007 that our 100 million company has acquired a 1 billion company. Therefore, I was part of 1 billion company in a very short span of time. The jump was 10 times. Then a twist came and it was named the great recession. I saw and understood the whole idea of business. I saw lots of fall out and more number of acquisitions than any one will see around. Even, my US bank was also acquired by a bigger bank. Now, my employer has again announced, but this time getting 100% acquired by a 14 times bigger company. Ha ha...what sense it make to me. Probably, my brand value is increasing. I am not sure. My grandfather company is 100 times bigger than my employer and has nearly around 5 times more employees also. Thus, now I am swimming in big sea where a small area is known as my current employer. By nature of law, if you are not a big fish you will be eaten and digested and dumped. That's the bitter truth.
What should be my next stand? Although, my company has become 10 times in reality and 1000 times virtually. I have to match this in my worth. Thus, my net worth should visually look 10 times and 1000 folds virtually. :) Let's see.

Why Gandhi is hero of the world even today?
The simple reason I see Gandhi as a hero of the world is because it was his vision which is taking shape in India now during post independence era since last 67 years , and the whole world is looking towards India because of its growth potential and resilience.
It has been predicted that per capita income of India will be in par with US and Europe around 2047-48 with an assumption of no war and calamities .ie. 100 years from its independence India will be in the line of top countries of the world. Gandhi would be very happy if he would have been alive.
Perhaps, I will be retiring that time and probably my children will be taking my place. I can not imagine the life I would be in after 40 years. It is interesting that I have found my first white hair just 10 days back. :)
I know I have a long way to go. People who are successful today would rich the top slots very fast, may be I will be the last but when I would reach at the place, I want to show this world that Gandhigiri is the best policy. I am inspired by Gandhi also, but the principle I follow is of Krishna because Gandhi took inspiation from my idol too. I would like to put Bhagwat Gita as source of my inspiration just like Gandhi and will stick Gandhian Principles of non violence till my last breath. While Krishna is my youth icon, Gandhi is my guts who teaches me opractically what is tolerance and power of non-voilence. He is my hero too.

The three questions which Obama put to the Indian youth
I saw it live till 2:30 am here. I liked the way he approached and tackled the tough questions.
But before taking question he asked three questions to Indian youth in St Xavier College, Mumbai:
1. How do you see America-India relationship in next 20 years?
2. How do you see yourself doing next 20 years?
3. How do you see yourself working for India in next 20 years?
Above may not be the exact words he used but the point that he wanted to urge to the youth was to think in terms of long term. That was very inspiring.
It is very important to work keeping your long term plan in mind with your short term goals. No two people in this world will have same fate on earth and thus, I believe if you have nothing at the first sight to choose then, it is awesome to look for what you want to0 do from a state called zero. :)
Everything you will claim then would only be positive. This thought itself is self motivating. Always remember that you are not going to lose anything. You came alone with empty hands and you would go with lots of memories for a new start again.:) So, nothing is permanent. Give your best.

What new I observed today
The most unforgettable moment of today which I would like to put in my memory pages: An Indian cute little kid was playing with his friend, who was a Korean girl with very different face and tone. While walking in the evening, I noticed them playing near pavement. They raced, talked, discussed and then again discussed, raced. The best part was they were just trying to discover new games. I liked their innocent fast talking. I enjoyed. I mean, they were thinking on the spot. I believe, that's how you learn faster, by discussing, talking, spending time together.
Then suddenly, I realized that I should walk more. I saw two brothers walking with their mother. The younger one, I remember him (that 5 years old kiddu) is a very good swimmer. Actually, I learn t swimming by watching him only. Suddenly, I realized that most of the things which I have learn t and using (which works always) are either from my childhood or I have learnt it from some kid for sure. I mean most of them. I feel being a kid again. :)

When I was a kid...(stupidity revisited)
Just got blown out becuase of a very sweet incident of my childhood, offcourse a stupid one. I was playing cricket with a guy having similar name as of mine "Bittu". So, Bittu was playing vs Bittu. All other people where sleeping in the afternoon. I think, I was 2 or 3 years old and was told not to play in the afternoon but I silently skipped from the bed,...took my bat and called my friend Bittu.
During those days, I had long hairs like the real fashionable dudes and models...my golden days...anyways...while, the whole family was sleeping, I started playing cricket. Everything was going fine. One more thing...bat belonged to me and ball belonged to my friend..... In a very competitive fight in a sportsman spirit, i hit a six which led the ball to go and sit in a deep shit muddy water out of the campus. My friend started crying for his ball. Since, it was my double fault (playing without permission and hitting a ball out of campus), I thought to get it back on my own. I tried stones, sticks but nothing worked...
After a long time, with great courage I thought of going into that pit, I was hero (I did not know it was deep..I never expected...didn't have that much brain). I told my friend..don't worry I will get it back... just keep silence and do not tell any one that I am going there. He nodded in agreement. I stepped into that ditch and slowly started going further in order to reach the ball and slowly the ditch started swallowing me inside it. I could not make sound due to fear of severe beating and that friend of mine also was keeping mum as per my instruction. Slowly, the muddy water reached my neck, mouth and nose... Then a miracle happened. Some guy from a distant building was playing with his kites. He saw me getting drowned , he started shouting and came running from very far for my help, actually all his friend came running to avoid something unpleasant . I was in the mud completely and only my hair was out (long hairs...). He picked me up with my long hairs and save my life. Then, took me to my home and then a big drama happened but I did not get any beating. Thanks to God. They just gave me a full bath and then, washed me with Ganga Jal and asked me to drink also:) . What! a day it was.

My Role Model
My search for the role model of my life ended few days back. It was a brain storming research and I happily declare that it is over. I wanted to write earlier in a better way with a complete analysis of all the characters whom I analyzed but it is not possible to write about all of those more than twenty thirty contenders. Perhaps, I can speak about it only if asked by someone close. The list included right from freedom fighters, politicians, lawyers, scientists, doctors, sportsmen, super heroes and epic heroes. It was a difficult choice. And when it comes to choice, i always refer history books :) ; I mean Ramayan and Mahabharat.
I have been concentrating on Mahabharat and Ramayan for my policies and duties, the different questions..what to do? what not to do? and during that time came to know answers of many of the questions related to life and one of them was surely the the question of role model also. While analyzing for a very long time about all the incidents in these two epics I was searching for a role model, a hero, a person whom I should follow my whole life. Well, I found one undoubtedly. Although, Ramayan is very idealistic and speaks lot about the values one should hold his whole life, it some what misses the the common problem of day to day life. Thus, while trying to co-relate the situations with present time; I found Ramayan should be followed for family values and Mahabharat should be followed for all non family affairs. That's one point.
The second point about role model is that, after watching and analyzing the whole idea of all the characters of Ramayan and Mahabharat, I today declare that my role model is Sri Krishna; not because he is God himself incarnated but because I find his deeds very similar to be copied in most of the cases :) ; I can copy all of them, actually would love to copy all his work. The incidents and events which happened between the time when he comes back after his education and before the great battle begins, is my favorite part. I was impressed by his presence of mind and his decisions which he made while leaving from Gurukul, helping Rukmini and then helping Pandavas when they needed it. Just awesome. He is my hero, my role model. If you are there Krishna having access to my blogs, just wanted to let you know; just be there. One day, I will meet you and if you are watching..just enjoy the show....thumps up to you for being my role model. :) Hey do you know...who is my second inspiration....that's Edward Bloom (BigFish character)....he gave a tough fight to you Krishna but you won the race. Edward is second my inspiration but you are my only role model+inspiration both. Cheers!

Big Fish : My journey with English as a language started from this point
If I go back in the history of my academics, I find English as a language having back seat positions in my priorities. It was never a language but a creepy subject for me. I could score well in it but could never put it into practice while communicating. My school days were almost non-English however it was an English medium. I could write but could not speak Why should I ? . I never knew it would lead to serious issues until my engineering days in South of India where mode of communication in academics was English only and, Hindi was just an other language to interact with my parents and relatives back home. In Bihar, English is not in any mode of life, the way as it is in Bangalore. And, this is not only my problem , it is a major problem with most of the guys coming from my state.
It was quite evident during my engineering days that if I did not take English seriously, I am going to miss the bus of opportunities. The first major step I took was during the third year of engineering. I joined as a student of Mr. Dinakar Reddy who used to run a private tuition in a center called Future Tense. Before joining his small institute in a small urban area like Tumkur, I tried my hands in the college level debates and group discussions competitions. With my to the point holding of the subject because of regular reading of editorial pages of TOI, I could manage to win prizes but my weakness was well exposed before me.-Lack of words.. Thus, before joining Future Tense, I was well aware how I have to groom my self. The 50 days spent with Mr. Dinakar Reddy sir were absorbed by my brain cells like nutrients and the result was that I could easily come out of debates and discussions in a better way. I got selected into the first company which came for campus selections but still mission has not been accomplished.
I tried to surround myself with English. I used to watch English movies and listen to the movie two three times to catch the pronunciation of words. The idea was to make my mind sync with it. One of the movie which is my all time favorite and helped me was The Big Fish. I like each and every scene of this movie. Actually, I took this guy Edwad Bloom as my role model for an English character. It is a complete movie in every sense and a great source of knowledge for me; blended with entertainment. It is beyond any match and has a very high place and value in my life. Here is a still from the movie which I like the most.
I watched this movies almost 30 times but it still appears new to me. I think it clicked with every cells of my brain and the movie is amazing. I can watch it infinite number of times. I like it than any other movie.
However, the jounrney with English still continues. I am not up to the mark. I am still trying to enrich my vocabulary. It is a continuous process and journey still continues.

Independence Day = Swatantrata Divas
Just few minutes back, I was reading an article from "The Times of India" in which the wrote about a survey about "what do today people think about Independence?" and what is the true meaning of independence from their point of view. Well, most of the people answered only for themselves. Individual freedom is not the "Swatantrata" true meaning.
Let's understand it from my perspective. The word independence does not sound too appealing to me than word "swatantrata" itself.
swa+tantrata = swatantrata...when you have your own system (tantra) for you, that means swantantra. Today, I see greed had replaced the true spirit of country. The people who are dedicated are never shown the ladder. The problem lies in the education system of India and a generation of people who are mentally not grown up to do politics of international standards.
The lack of 2nd vision and foresight can be easily seen in the system. The people of India have no person who can give them a new hope. Everyone is busy in filling his bank account and they have a day to praise old generation who gave everything for country. This day is known as Swatantrata Divas. Remembering those people has no effect until the teachers can teach the true thoughts in Indian students. The Indian student goes to school for laddos and snacks on independence day. This is how we build patriots and future of country.
The teachers of Indian Education system are responsible for such a degraded politics of India where the same problems are repeated in the speech of PM every year what actually changes is the new "Yojnas". The new one takes the place of the old ones.. India needs teachers and not insects who just ruin mind of students. India needs seeds of good thoughts in those young mind right in their childhood who do not trust their own tradition and culture and are more exposed to television for their vision. We need a real farmer who can cultivate Indians. Today, TV has replaced teachers and if this is true then, it is very essential that parents should understand what is the impact of it on their children.
Their is no machine better than human mind. It is very essential that a mind should be run for a cause for welfare of society as its main objective. This mind learns from the 5 senses and it should be shown the right things.
My simple objective of this article was to expose the weakness of our thinking pattern which simply copies the system of other countries because the seed of this inferiority has been sown in our minds by our so called teachers and politicians (they are also teacher) long ago in our educational system. By following someone you can only become a follower (good or bad) but if you want to be leader you have to show everyone the right path which is the prime responsibility of a teacher. A teacher can be parents (during first 5 years), school teachers (next 15 years) and politicians (after 20...). It can also be the newspapers (during your whole life) or the television. The goal should be you need a better world and it should be free.
Remember always your five senses are your own teachers provided by Nature. You have a mind to perceive. In this way, you are your won teacher and ruler. First, you have to understand that these teachers are good for you and they are showing you a good path. Once you know that you are on the right track, these teachers will keep you guided from wrong things with the help of your mind. When the decisions start coming naturally to you, you are "swatantrata" in true sense.
After applying the same concept on different layers, like from individual level to family level, from family level to society level and then from society level to national level you can multiply the scope of this "swatantrata". When growth comes naturally to you this is what should be understood as Swatantrata., the real meaning of Independence.
Happy Independence Day. Swatanta Divas ki Subhkaamnayein.

4 years of professional life
Last time when I wrote about the same topic, it was centered around the materialistic facts and accomplishments. I have already pointed my accomplishments about the first three years thus I would concentrate on the last year only.
The last one year, if I saw from this moment, exposed me to world of words. I started writing blogs. I came to US twice and I learnt Java, Sharepoint and .NET. In the meanwhile, I saw my self driven towards Indian scriptures. I also learnt swimming. This one year was different. The year gave me professional growth as well as spiritual growth. I was promoted to Team Lead. Also, I developed my interest in history of India and Indian Culture and its history.
Life saw few discouraging moments and made me emotional too during the last year but now it all looks like it was all for a better life. I lost nothing and gained everything. I gifted a bike to my father and cleared all the debts of my family.
My writing skills improved and so my creativity. To swim was a long time wish which I accomplished in just 15 days on my own. I always tried to be truthful and now in the last part of this year, I am practicing the requirements for doing meditation.
Sometimes, I found myself attracted towards ROBOTICs, classical music, Mahabharat, Ramayana, Chankaya, MBA and Thai-Chi. I also tried to read the Sherlock Holmes book but it will take time.
Finance is one field which calls me but I feel it is still not the right time to jump into it. I have to combine all my interests and come up with a single thing. A single goal which is still not visible.
To conclude, I would say the last year was good.

The You Tube Malaria
In US there is no other way to kill your time. The only way is to watch youtube. I have watched first Ramayana, Mahabharata and then Chanakya. Now, I am watching Bharat Ek Khoj.
Looks like I am back in time. Thanks to youtube. :)

The Golden Rule
1. Is this good for my soul(son)?
2. Is this good for my body(friend)?
3. Thank you Nature! Feel that Thanks!

The real problem
A man in his life time undergoes through many phases and he plays many roles. He follows his mind and tries his level best to succeed. However, only few can get the real taste of success.
There is a basic problem with all human beings: Ego
There is a basic lack of intelligence about : Aim
What to do now? is a basic question everyone faces. To overcome we make calls, write mails, plan things and do various activities but still that happiness of self is not achieved. In these moments, we try to get away from all and try to sleep with a sense of sadness. This happens to everyone. If you can not see what is your future is leading to you are in dark and you will continuously try to discover yourself here and there. In your thoughts you will avoid people, your relatives, friends and family. You will talk useless things on phone and you will talk more than required.
The only way to overcome this problem is strict discipline and good habits with a right approach. As all the faces are not same and so as their life. The expectations from one another are the cause of real problems and the best way to overcome this is to become free from all bindings. One should try his level best to develop a self learning and earning mindset.
The golden rule is :
1. Do your duty but don't think for anything in return.
2. Avoid mean people
3. Take holy vibration as thoughts, books and meditation.
4. Keep always smiling. Always think you are in a virtual world and nothing is real and permanent.
5. Before doing anything ask a question : Is this good for my soul? Treat your soul as your son.
6. Before taking anything from your senses ask a question: Is this good for my health? Treat your body as your best friend?
7. After completing a task : Thank God! The Truth! The Universal Consciousness! Feel the thanks yourself.

The Digital Culture and Social Networking
Style is what now-a-days people want to have. It gives them a sense of uniqueness.
I-pad revolution is on its way. Everyone one seems to get either an iphone or an ipad. The same case was when i-pod was launched. I see people crazy about Facebook and social networking. Why the hell we have phones then? If I need to get in touch with my friend then I will call him. Let me unwind few stacks.
How many of us know what is social networking? Who needs it? With selfishness on a rise like prices it is Americans who really need social networking. I do not feel social networking has any place in Indian culture expect for few celebrities. Who just want to air their views. Poilitics also have found some place on twitter. Also, few people wants to spy on others. They are more interested in what others are doing. Such people are morons.
However, if you want to chase some one unknown, then yes. You need it. But who has time for all these stuffs.
The real fun of life is in learning and innovating. Indian Culture is so rich and there are so many things to learn that I do not find myself driven by these revolutions. Sometimes, I feel that I am not like others. But may be the truth is yes..I am different.

Idea is NOT a machine thing
“Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life - think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success, that is way great spiritual giants are produced.” - Swami Vivekananda
The above thought of Swami Vivekananda holds good is every field and should not be considered as bounded around only spirituality.
Idea is not a machine thing. This sentence seems to be somewhat messy in first reading but leave that and let me know about your thoughts. What is running in your mind, right now? An idea or a thought ? It's the human mind which generates an idea in form of thoughts. If you don’t have any ideas running in your mind then please finish this article and then each thought of yours will pop up as an idea for sure. How many of you can sit and meditate on a new idea? Do you have an idea? Or let me frame in this way, do you have your own idea about any thought around you. Aha! You have one, Congratulation! friend, but where can you share it? These are the questions which you should ask yourself before reading further. Many of us are already sharing our thoughts socially on "Socially" and I am not an exception too.
Each idea follows the simple rule of evolution - "Upgrade and Update”. This way new idea generates and great mind like yours start receiving more blood. The people, like you and me, who are part of digital word are following a kind of "Digital Culture" and no doubt we are good followers and free advertisers. In this digital world, you are already part of someone's idea and you are literally living with those ideas which were not yours, but of the think tanks sitting in Apple, Microsoft, Google, Sun, Oracle, IBM, Honda...etc who are continuously making your phones, gizmos, computers, cars and everything without which you will not be considered as a complete human being. These products define your life and how you spend your time. Someone shows you a cloud and say there is a fairy that fulfills all your wishes with a touch of your finger in this magical device. Come on! kid just 5oo$ touch the sky. Well, the fairy behind the cloud is nothing but ideas manifested in a form of smart machines and applications running on it. Idea sells. Let’s meditate on one of them for a while without internet (without googling around, disconnect your internet and then think..) and your mind will stop working. All the flow of fresh blood into your brain will stop and you may start searching F1 and F5 buttons in the mirror on the wall near you, like me. Moreover, if you could sustain that pressure of processing on these ideas for a while, you will probably end up crashing into your bed within two minutes. Shutter down!! and shutdown!!. This is what happened to me when I started thinking about "Touch Screens". Can you believe how a mind reacted against an idea of “Touch screens”? Mine switched off itself.
Thus, now an idea not only controls a machine, in fact, it controls a human mind (like mine, it shutdowns!) virtually hiding behind a dark cloud which you cannot see. There are advantages and disadvantages of this but it depends on you how you use those external ideas for your own ideas. Innovation can be cooked in your kitchen if you have the right tools and a correct approach. Let's get out of the war of Microsoft and Sun; Apple and Adobe; who are restricting innovation to languages’ and platforms for their own profits. A new idea will sprout in one mind and will keep igniting other minds for sure to make our lives simpler and easier. Therefore, look around and replace whatever is complex because if you would not do it now then somebody else would. The real fun is who does it first is known as an innovator.
For instance, suppose you have a web based phone (everyone already has) capable of using 3-G network and a third party platform which can be used as an engine for multimedia streaming ( audio, video , fax etc . processing ) which can be used for developing various applications. What you can do with it?? Any ideas?? Think for two minutes, you will feel thoughts popping out. Still, no ideas, please read below:
Dialogic launched a contest to check out innovations on its platforms. Those who don't know about Dialogic let me introduce what dialogic does. Dialogic provides various engines for voice, fax, video and other media streaming which serves as platforms for various development works round the globe. It claims “making innovation thrive” as per its tagline. The Innovator Contest from Dialogic provided following tools for the contestants companies 1. web based Telephone 2. 3G Network and 3. Dialogic platform(open-standards).
The grand prize winner was Almira Labs from Spain. They won for an application that allows 3G mobile phone users to take as many videos as they'd like and then retrieve them by video calling the Video Notes service. A variation of these applications allows 3G mobile phone users to quickly and easily send video messages to multiple recipients at once. This application is ideal for the hearing impaired community or helpful in countries where patients live far from their doctors so doctors can "see" the symptoms. The runner-up was CreaLog from Germany, who developed an application they call "Cabfish," a location-based taxi ordering application for the iPhone. This Voice Portal application is available in more than 40 languages and allows a customer to order a taxi by simply pressing a button on his or her mobile phone. The GPS position of the mobile is sent to a server, which converts the position into a postal address. Then, the Voice Portal calls a local taxi station (in the local language) and the ordering result in displayed on the customer's mobile phone. Honorable mentions include Bay Talkitec from India for their Mobile Video Yellow Pages application, Calltech from Columbia for their "Click to Call" Facebook application, and EGTEK Co., Ltd. from Korea for their voice analyzing "Love Meter" application.
Irony is, I knew about Dialogic capabilities but I could not think of any such ideas when I posed the same question on myself which I posed to you. Is something wrong with my thinking patterns?
No doubt, all the above mentioned companies are core product based companies and their business pattern, life style and cultures are quite different from a service based company like Keane but, Keane is already part of a family called Knowledge Based Industry. If you are not updating yourself in this industry you will be outperformed by someone smarter. As per my business acumen, only two things sells in this Knowledge Based Industry "Innovation" and "Quality of Service". Innovation is the faster way to capture the mood as it takes less time than “QoS”. I hope now by this time your will have some idea what I was trying to convey. Please remember idea is not a machine thing. Look inside yourself, look outside around and it is already there in your mind, your own new born idea.

The First Rain
Cloud seems the pick of the day. Folks round the world are biting their nails thinking about "Cloud Computing" and "The Ash Clouds of Iceland". Although, only very few of them are quite sure how to tackle the obstacles and challenges that these "clouds" throws at us. I termed "obstacles and challenges" but the idea was to symbolize the ample amount of "opportunities" that these clouds have to offer in the form of these obstacles and challenges. It’s about perception how you take a rain; as an obstacle; as a challenge or as an opportunity to quench your thirst. I am just trying to explore how?
Clouds (the natural raining clouds) can offer three things which I have mainly noticed- 1. Cover 2. Rain 3. Thunder. Each one has its own natural and scientific significance in our context of need. Let's not go in detail in this. I am sure, all of us have spent sometime during our childhood days analyzing the different shapes these clouds used to take. While, writing this article I turned towards window and spent two minutes watching the clouds in the sky and they made me smile for a while with the thoughts that now I find clouds in block diagrams only. And this whole world seems to be running behind a virtual cloud in the sky of internet which does not rain but can show you the first raining clouds over India while sitting in US. This virtual cloud is network of computers which have manifested object oriented concepts as service oriented applications. This is where the whole IT
industry is looking for rain.
Similar to the natural clouds, this virtual cloud has also three major things on offer which I could perceive with my limited knowledge. 1. Mobility 2. Connectivity 3. Computing which is heading us to windows of innovations. Static desktops will probably be washed away in its rain because the future is mobility and connectivity. The word static is now equivalent to limitations. Armed only with an internet connection, a very tiny simple lightweight OS and a browser in any tiny device you can connect to everything else which is on offer, available in the virtual world of this cloud. iPAD, iPhone, Droid phones are already providing the windows to peep in to these clouds. I am trying to understand and explore what it can lead to and I am surprised. It's the future.
A simple mathematical interpretation which I think should be enough to convince most of the minds like me can be :( please note there is always a scope of improvement)
Cloud Computing = ((Mobility + Connectivity) + Computing) x (cheaper price + smaller size + lighter weight + extremely longer battery life)
= simplified hardware configurations - (licenses + upgrades)
= FUTURE
I can see the days coming when we will be able to do our office work comfortably from a simple cell phone like device without installing any software. And who knows some device called iRain will appear which MNCs will provide to all its employees to work around and quench our thirst over their own private/public Clouds from anywhere round the globe. We will then witness the first virtual rain.

It's show time
2010....Reston....third trip to US.....just came back from office....tomorrow there is lots of work.....thus, thought of writing something....mood is relax and calm...weather is also very nice and warm....it's very cozy.
Today my father told me that his case could not make to Supreme Court as the bench did not admit it. No doubt, he was upset. I told him not to think much and sleep well. During my office time, I called few of my friends. I could reach all of them except one.
I tried working but few thoughts kept on disturbing me. What are my limits? How weak I am? What should I do?
The answer which came from inside was "It's show time".

judging...
Although it is quite complicated and you may not agree with me.
The first simple rule for judging a person is to make him speak but not react.
I have seen people speaking something and thinking something else. This usually makes them talk too much than required. This can be easily noticed with girls normally and even with boys too. You can easily find contradictions in their statements and if you find it then, it is better you leave the conversation as soon as possible. This means he/she is confused or trying to make you confused. This leads to lots of confusions. DO NOT TALK or TALK RUBBISH.
The second rule according to me is pictures. A person who like too much of his photographs is a show piece. The reason why I made this statement is that if their is a show, we should enjoy it but if its a piece of show it would surprise you every time. APPRECIATE THE PICTURE, NOT THE FRAME AND GET A CAMERA EYE
Third rule is ambitions. An ambitious person sees only one thing - The HILL TOP. He will do all sacrifice to achieve it. Such persons will neglect most of the surroundings and questions; but they will try to get most of the attention. LEAVE THEM ALONE OR KEEP SUITABLE DISTANCE
Eyes vs Smile. The movement of eyes speaks a lot about personality. Beautiful eyes are rare and the same applies for the smiles. The man who smiles too much can be a joker. But a girl who smiles too much can be very intelligent. Too much of eye movement and smiles are things to be avoided in a conversation. If you do not notice it, that's fine but if do notice it, that means someone is getting bankrupt of thoughts and is going be in trouble. It is always better to avoid such creatures who are fast and smiling guns. BE SERIOUS otherwise LAUGH LOUDER in front of them.
Last but not least; the respect factor. If a person respects you, that's because he wants it back in return. Never neglect such sensitive persons because the time a respect become drama, it leads to a misunderstanding at the spot. The character of a person can be easily found with this trait of him. the moment you disrespect a person then the next moment be ready to get it in return. RESPECT EVERYONE
To summarize in few words Character = SPEAKING LEVEL + APPEARANCE MAGNITUDE + AMBITIONS HEIGHT + EYES MOVEMENT + SMILE VOLTAGE + RESPECT FACTOR

Ek ajeeb soch jo baar baar yaad aati hai
Kuch dino pahle mai Washington mai National museum dekhne gaya tha. Wahan maine aise bahut sare chizein dekhin jo ek normal ensaan humesha yaad rakhega. Wahan mai durlabh diamonds, ajib adbudh pathar dekhein par ye sab kuch mujhe yaad nahi aatein. Ek drisya jo baar deemag mai aa jata hai..woh hai ek budhe aadmi ka chehra jo wahan museum mai meri tarah sab kuch dekh raha tha par uske dekhne aur mere dekhne mai bahut farq tha.
Farq ye tha ki uski aakhon mai maine unn sabhi chizon ke liye lagao dekha...manno woh dil se dekh raha ho aur taarif kar raha ho....saayad woh iss soch ke sath dekh raha tha jaise woh fir dunia mai in sabhi chizon ko dekhne ke liye jinda nahi rahega..Usee dekh kar hin mujhe laga ki uska jeevan ab khatam hone wala hai. Uski woh nazrein aur uska yun har ek drishya ko niharna iss soch ke sath ki woh ab marne wala hai mere hosh ura gaya.Woh wheel chair pe tha. Uski biwi paas kahri thi aur sayd beti wheel chair ko push kar rahi thi. Uski aadmi ka khasne mai itna dard tha ki laga woh ab jayada din jinda nahi rahega. Woh ek ajib hasrat bhari nazron se sab kuch dekh raha tha.....glass pe uska haath baar baar phirana aur mann hin mann dubara dekhne ki tamanna mai saaf dekh sakta tha. Woh drisya mujhe baar baar yaad aata hai.Bhagwan usee himmat de apni bimari se larne ke liye.

Pride and Prejudice : by Vinay Pandey
This is just a copy paste from the timesofindia site. I liked this article as a Bihari but I am an Indian first.
The recent growth of Bihar which is in par with Gujrat makes every citizen of Bihar and thus India feel proud and I hope all Indians want to see development in Bihar and therefore, all of us should appreciate the Bihar Government for its three years of magnificent work.
Now since Bihar is rising, we as an Indian should appreciate this and provide all necessary resources and efforts so that this part of India can get its lost glory back.
Here is the article written by Vinay Pandey. I sincerely thank him for writing such a wonderful article.

Who carries you on a rickshaw or an autorickshaw in Delhi? Biharis. Who drives the cars of Delhiites? Biharis. Who built the Delhi Metro?
Biharis. (You may not agree with the last one.)
Who is building the new houses and the expanding suburbs of Delhi? Biharis. Who made Punjab the most prosperous state in the country? The answer again is Biharis. (Here too you may not agree.)
The credit for building the Delhi Metro or making Punjab prosperous will never go to Biharis. Does anyone ever say that blacks built America?
In colonial days, Bihar supplied the "girmitiya", or indentured, labour force that built countries like Mauritius, Suriname and Fiji. A bulk of the labour employed in the Raj capital of Calcutta came from Bihar. After Independence, as opportunities grew, Bihari workers flocked to places like Delhi, Punjab and Mumbai.
At the same time, Biharis excelled in other fields. Many of them became great political leaders, ICS and IAS
officers, scientists, doctors, engineers, writers and artists. Delhi and other Indian cities attracted huge white-collar Bihari populations and Biharis formed a large part of the Indian diaspora of professionals.
But in the eyes of the rest of India, "Bihari" had come to mean a labourer, a person doing menial jobs. It had become a term of scorn and contempt. In their anglicized lingo, places like Delhi University turned the word into "Harry", but the pejorative tone remained unmistakable.
Heaping scorn on the working classes is a universal phenomenon. That is how words like Negro, Paki (used for Pakistanis and Indians in Britain) and some of the words denoting dalit castes in India earned contemptuous connotations.
In fact, while Biharis were getting their hands dirty on Punjab's farms, Punjabis were migrating in hordes to the US, Canada, the UK and Australia. Never mind that they would take up blue-collar jobs as taxi drivers, petrol pump attendants and waiters in those faraway lands.
As the years passed, many of the Biharis who had come to Punjab or Mumbai as manual labourers started moving up the economic ladder as did the blue-collar Indian emigrants abroad. A usually unnoticed aspect of the so-called racial attacks against Indians abroad is the threat the rise of working classes poses to the entrenched social order. This accentuates the contempt they face. Viewed thus, the attacks on Biharis in Punjab, and Mumbai, and the attacks on Indians abroad are manifestations of the same phenomenon.
What stopped Biharis from bringing about a green revolution or building a Metro in Bihar? The answer is geography and history. Geography, because ravaged by floods, the land of Bihar was unable to feed its growing population. And history, because what was the centre of the biggest Indian empire in ancient times was reduced to an obscure provincial existence. The skewed landownership system introduced by the British rulers worsened the situation.
It is a story of a couple of hundred years. Things could have improved after Independence had the political leadership of Bihar been able to exert influence on the rulers in New Delhi to get enough funds for development projects and set off a process of industrialization in the state.
On the contrary, Bihar continued to live the same, conveniently ignored, provincial existence. A system built on casteism, nepotism, corruption and crime came to dominate the state. It spawned a neo-rich class of netas, babus, contractors and government engineers who would build palatial houses for themselves with the money meant for dams, power projects, ration for the poor or even fodder for cattle.
The money meant for roads, other infrastructure and public amenities would go into their bank accounts. No wonder, the roads - supposed to be built with public money - in front of those houses would be full of ditches and become the playground of pigs every monsoon.
With limited options of higher education and hardly any employment opportunities in the state, the youth of Bihar started looking out. They flooded places like Delhi University and Jawaharlal Nehru University. They started dominating the country's toughest competitive tests like the IIT Joint Entrance Examination and the UPSC's civil services examination. With this success, Biharis started believing that they were the brainiest. As for others, they at least began to acknowledge that Biharis were inferior to none when it came to brainpower.
The academic success, however, did not do much to rid the word "Bihari" of the scorn it had gathered. People in Delhi continued to laugh at those who spoke with a Bihari accent. Those who spoke without an accent would get this compliment: "Oh, you are from Bihar? But you don't sound like a Bihari."
Biharis, meanwhile, were retreating into a shell, with little but the glory of ancient and medieval heroes like Buddha, Mahavira, Chandragupta, Chanakya, Ashoka, Aryabhatta, Guru Gobind Singh and Sher Shah to bask in. Now comes 11% growth. The state can recover from the damage it has suffered over hundreds of years only if such a high rate of growth can be sustained for many, many years. Then Biharis would not have to till others' land or build cities and countries elsewhere.
The writer is proud to be a Bihari.
